Pool Title POOL - Security Officer (Part-time) Pool Number S27-22 Announcement Summary
This is a continuous recruitment pool not specifically advertised.
The pool is continuous in order to develop a qualified pool of interested candidates.
We invite applications to be submitted for potential openings.
Duties
Patrol campus on foot or vehicle; enforce campus rules and regulations; respond to all emergencies; conduct building checks; provide assistance to students, faculty, staff and visitors; Able to deescalate situations at the lowest level. Support crime prevention program and complete all required reports and records.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs,
Must be able to perform duties in inclement weather conditions.
Must be available to work any shift.
Minimum Qualifications
Two years of experience in Public Safety, Security, or Law Enforcement, or two years loss prevention experience, and/or customer service experience, and at least a High School Diploma or equivalent. A valid North Carolina vehicle operator's license is required. Must be able to perform security related duties, to include: walking, standing, running, sitting, lifting at least 50 lbs.
