Job Summary and Qualifications

This position supports the mission ofย HCA HealthONEย Mountain Ridgeย to deliver safe, quality, evidence-based patient care that is compliant withย HCAHealthONE policies and guidelines.ย The Registered Nurse must be able to demonstrate advanced knowledge and skills in the care of his/herpatients.ย Each service also requires specialized skills.The delivery of care is based on criteria that is age appropriate and is based on the physical, psychosocial, cultural, safety and learning needs of the individual patient.ย The Registered Nurse may rotate to other areas other than his/her normally assigned service area/s, and will perform only those duties for which he/she has demonstrated competency. The Registered Nurse performs delegated duties consistent with his/her scope of practice and functions within the philosophy and overall plan of care delivery atHCA HealthONE Mountain Ridge. The Registered Nurse displays positivesupport forHCA HealthONE Mountain Ridgeas well as theย entireย HCAHealthONE organization and is committed to the process of continuous learning and professional development.โ€ฏย 

Provides patient careย utilizingthe nursing process โ€“ assessment, care planning, implementation, and reassessment โ€“ for the identified patient population per the Colorado Nurse Practice Act.ย Documents patient care administered.ย Promotes interdisciplinary communication and care.ย The delivery of care is based on the age, physical, psychosocial, cultural, safety and learning needs of the individual patient.ย Demonstrates basic and unit specific competencies.

What qualifications you will need:

  • Registered Nurse license in the state of Colorado, or multistate licenseย 
  • Nursing diploma from an accredited school of nursing, BSN desireableย 
  • Currentย AHAย or ARCย BCLSย andย AHAย or ARCย ACLSย Certification for all Float Pool Registered Nursesย required.ย Additionalย certificationsย requiredย based on specialtyย unitย served
  • Two or more years of RN experience in an acute setting
