Job description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pool Construction Foreman to lead and manage residential and/or commercial pool construction projects from ground-up excavation to final completion. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in pool construction, strong leadership skills, and the ability to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is a full-time SEASONAL position from April through November.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise all on-site pool construction activities, including excavation, plumbing, forming, rebar, coping, decking, and equipment installation.

  • Coordinate and lead crews, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient project execution.

  • Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and job specifications.

  • Maintain strict adherence to safety standards and ensure all team members follow OSHA regulations and company safety policies.

  • Monitor job progress and adjust schedules as needed to stay on timeline.

  • Communicate regularly with the Project Manager regarding project status, issues, and changes.

  • Inspect all work to ensure compliance with quality standards and client expectations.

  • Manage site logistics, including material deliveries, equipment usage, and jobsite cleanliness.

  • Resolve onsite conflicts or issues proactively and professionally.

  • Maintain detailed daily reports of labor, materials, and jobsite activities.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in construction / pool construction.

  • At least 1–2 years in a foreman or supervisory role.

  • Extensive knowledge of pool building processes, materials, and equipment.

  • Ability to read construction blueprints and technical drawings.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

  • Ability to operate construction machinery and tools.

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs, bend, kneel, and stand for long periods.
