What is a pool concierge?

Pool Concierges are hospitality professionals responsible for ensuring guests have an enjoyable and seamless experience at a hotel's pool area or private club. Their duties often include setting up lounge chairs, providing towels, taking food and drink orders, answering questions about pool amenities, and assisting with guest requests. Pool Concierges may also help maintain a clean and welcoming environment, manage reservations for poolside cabanas, and coordinate special events or activities. Their goal is to enhance guest satisfaction by offering attentive and personalized service around the pool.

Do pool concierges make good money?

Pool concierges typically earn an hourly wage or salary that varies based on location, experience, and employer. In general, they earn around minimum wage to moderate pay rates, with some positions offering tips or bonuses that can increase overall earnings. To thrive as a Pool Concierge, you need strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and prior hospitality experience, often supported by a high school diploma or equivalent.
