Our local Harmonic hot tub manufacturing facility in Franklin KY, professional pool building expertise and 29- year-old family- owned core truly set us apart in all our markets. Position SummaryThe Maintenance Technician will provide consistent quality pool cleaning and maintenance service, developing and maintaining a base of satisfied clients. Duties/Responsibilities: ● To ensure consistent client satisfaction, resulting in repeat business and referrals.● Provide a reliable, efficient and professional service to clients.● Provide professional pool cleaning, water balancing, and client follow up.● Load vehicle with standard and out of ordinary stock. Ensure all stock removed from warehouse is accurately recorded and maintain stock register and required tools to undertake services.● Accurately record all materials and products used on site for invoicing purposes.● Identify and report any maintenance problems or faults.● Identify poolside opportunities for upselling/sales opportunities; refer to Senior technician or management if needed.● Maintain accurate and current technical information and skills.● Maintain high presentation standards in vehicle, uniforms and stationery.● Maintain a clean and safe vehicle environment, including vehicle presentation adhering to OSHA policies and procedures.● Maintain and service the motor vehicle, provided equipment and tools.● Attend all training sessions, staff meetings and activities as requested to remain up to date on all innovations in the business so that the service provided is always "best practice".● Maintain positive, honest, open, and effective communications, relationships and morale at all levels in the business. Contact with each customer must be made prior to arrival.● Maintain contact with various manufacturer's technical service teams.● Collect payment or any amount due during each site visit. Verify paid in full before leaving.● Maintain or surpass sales targets set in place by management.● Support the retail division by reinforcing and supporting our brands and the decisions made during the sales processes.● Properly maintain and adhere to the company policies for using any provided electronic devices; including cell phones, tablets, water testing and GPS systems.● Perform other duties as required by management. Required Skills/Abilities: ● Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.● Sales and marketing awareness and skills.● Basic chemical level calculation skills.● Ability to work independently and as part of a team● Excellent organizational skills including time management● Computer skills.● Independent problem-solving skills ability.● Ability to work various hours including weekends and some holidays● Pool cleaning equipment knowledge● Hammerhead experience is a plus Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or Pool Professional and Spa Operator (PPSO) certification Current Driver's License PhysicalRequirements: -Ability to spend up to 100% of working time standing, walking, and moving around-Ability to regularly bend at the waist, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, and stoop-Ability to regularly push, pull and lift more than 100 pounds Ability to use janitorial equipment, rolling racks, ladders and other assigned supplies In addition to a competitive salary and incentive package, we also offer Health coverage including Life/ Disability, through Mutual of Omaha, optional Dental and Vision coverage, 401(k) w match, Employee Discount, Paid Time Off (PTO), and a full menu of Comprehensive Training. We will be accepting applications and interviewing candidates between July 1st and August 5th.
