POLITICO is seekingan exceptional college student or recent graduatefor its Fall2026 audio/video internship.This role offers hands-on experience in editorial production, contentdistributionandmultimedia storytelling.You'llwork closely with producers and editors to support daily production needs while learning how a fast-paced newsroom creates and distributes journalism across platforms.

• Support daily audio and video production workflows across the team

• Conductresearchonvarious topics,individualsand current eventsto supportshoweditorialprocess

• Sourcearchival footage, soundbites, and relevant assetsforaudio and video

• Assistwith clippinginterviews and live events

• Assistwith recording sessions, livetranscriptsandprovideproduction supportin real time

• Helpmaintainorganized production files, metadata, and documentation

• Upload and manage content across CMS, YouTube, podcast, and social platforms

• Collect performance metrics from various platforms

WhatYou'llNeed:

• Strong passion for journalism,Washington,politicsand policy

• Demonstrated Interest inmultimediaproduction,editing,podcastingor platform innovation

• Familiarity with editing software, production tools, or social publishing platforms is a plus

• Ability to work quickly and efficiently under deadlines

• Excellent news judgement

• Entrepreneurial mindset

• Proven experience in a newsroom. At least one professional news media internship or job preferred
