About the Position
Lane County Public Works is seeking dedicated professionals to work as a PW Management Analyst in its Administration Services Division. These positions will assist in preparing the Department's annual budget, financial reports, and computations. You will provide collaborative and solution-oriented services through divisional financial analysis, cost analysis, data analytics, and project work as needed. PW Management Analysts are often involved in cross-divisional teams and tasked with conducting research, determining and raising pertinent issues, preparing a variety of reports, and summarizing findings.
The Public Works Management Analyst is a broad classification. Incumbents perform a broad range of professional analytical and administrative work in support of their assigned are of responsibility. Duties may include organizational/program research and analysis, budget development and monitoring, cost analysis, contract and grant administration support, and other related analytical activities. Specific duties will vary in accordance with assigned area of responsibility.
Positions assigned to the Public Works Budget Team provide professional budget, financial, and analytical support to the department and divisions. Responsibilities generally include researching and analyzing organizational, financial, system, and procedural issues; evaluating financial and operational trends; updating analytical models and financial forecasts; preparing, monitoring, and recommending operating and capital budgets; updating budget worksheets and supporting documentation; preparing financial analyses and management reports; interpreting and applying budgetary and financial policies.

About the Division
The Administrative Services Division includes 22 FTE and provides support services for the other seven Public Works (PW) divisions. It serves as central administration for the Department, with functions that include payroll, budgeting, financial management, safety, training and development, contract administration, and customer service. Administrative Services also provides leadership, information, analysis, and support to the Department Director, management team, staff, citizens, and Board of Commissioners to assist them in making quality decisions about the Department and Lane County's communities.
Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Alternative schedules may be considered. Some overtime required per operational needs.

QUALIFICATIONS
Training & Experience:

• A bachelor's degree in a field related to the area of assignment and up to two years of professional experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of this entry-level position.

Medical/Rx/Vision - Lane County offers medical, prescription and vision exam coverage for you and your eligible dependents. The plan options and costs per month for 2026 are outlined below:
If you enroll in the HDHP the County will contribute to your HSA:
For eligible members of unions LCPOA, 626, Admin Pro, and AFSCME Physicians $1,700 for individual coverage and $3,400 for family coverage.
For eligible members of unions AFSCME General, AFSCME Nurses, FOPPO, PAA, and non-represented employees $1,600 for individual coverage and $3,200 for family coverage. Those who complete the requirements to receive the Live Well Credit by November 30, 2026, will receive an additional contribution of $400 individual or $800 family, funded in 2027.
These amounts are prorated based on date of hire.
All eligible employees who complete a Health History Risk Assessment (HHRA), Biometric Screening, and Comprehensive Health Review (CHR) at the Live Well Center receive a $20 per month credit.
