Job description

Job Summary:

The Polisher is responsible for helping to create and maintain quality experiences by maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the restaurants.

Essential Job Functions; include but not limited to:

  • Stock shelves, racks, tables and service stations with new or transferred supplies
  • Receive, open, unpack and stock restaurant supplies
  • Polish all glasses and silverware to be used in the dining room
  • Restocks dining room with china, silverware, glassware, utensils, condiments and linen, and
  • Maintains adequate supplies in the work stations when dining room is open
  • Fold napkins and make extra place settings
  • Take inventory or examine merchandise to identify items to be reordered or replenished
  • Other Job duties assigned

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time. In some instances, the entire shift
  • Intermittent periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Ability to lift at least but not limited to 50 pounds and if more must be with assistance
  • Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats (e.g., small print)
  • Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines (e.g., to identify defects)
  • Ability to move quickly turning from left to right or right to left
  • Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
  • Flexibility in the wrist to scoop, twist, push, pull, lift, and bend

Education and Required Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous stock clerk or related work desired.
