Software V&V Lead
Location: Rockford Illinois United States.
Duration: 6 months
Interview Mode: video
Job Description:
Non-local are acceptable too, but the client does not pay expenses, is an all-inclusive rate.
Skills:
• Around 10 years'' experience in Building instrumentation, SCA (Structural Coverage Analysis) Build creation and Coverage analysis
• Aerospace domain experience is mandatory
• 6+ years'' experience in RTRT tool usage for SCA activities
• Strong experience of Software Testing methodologies, including Black-box, White-box, and boundary value analysis.
• 6+ years strong experience with DO-178B/C standards and their application in software verification processes
• Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in avionics systems (e.g., C, Ada)
• Experience with software testing tools and frameworks for units, integration SSIT and HSIT), and system level testing
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify root causes of defects
• Strong documentation and communication skills to clearly articulate test results and findings
• Familiarity with requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS)
• Experience in working within a regulated environment with a focus on safety-critical systems
• Experience in Configuration and change management activities using tools like Synergy CM/Change, Polarion/SVN.
Languages
• Advanced level of English.
