Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product Manager (Poker) based in Netherlands.

This role sits at the intersection of product strategy, data-driven decision-making, and iGaming economics, with a strong focus on poker product development and optimization. You will be responsible for shaping the product roadmap, improving player engagement, and maximizing long-term profitability through carefully designed mechanics, promotions, and loyalty systems. The position requires deep analytical thinking to interpret behavioral and financial data, identify conversion and retention opportunities, and translate insights into actionable product initiatives. You will also design and evaluate complex financial models for tournaments, series, and promotional mechanics, ensuring sustainable growth and risk control. Working closely with product leadership and cross-functional teams, you will influence key strategic decisions across the poker ecosystem. This is a high-impact role in a fast-evolving environment where product, data, and gaming strategy come together.

Accountabilities:

Own the end-to-end development and optimization of the poker product, combining product strategy, data analysis, and financial modeling:

  • Define and maintain the poker product roadmap in collaboration with senior product leadership.
  • Design and optimize cross-conversion strategies across casino, betting, and poker verticals.
  • Test and evaluate product hypotheses, including loyalty mechanics, bonuses, and promotional campaigns, with a focus on retention and revenue impact.
  • Analyze behavioral and funnel data to identify drop-off points and generate actionable product insights.
  • Build and maintain financial models for tournaments and seasonal series, including buy-in pools, GGR projections, and overlay risk analysis.
  • Provide recommendations on game economics, rake efficiency, and product profitability based on data insights.
  • Translate analytics and cohort reports into structured product recommendations and technical requirements.
  • Own the full product lifecycle from concept and financial validation to execution and marketing alignment.
Requirements:

We are looking for a data-driven Product Manager with strong experience in poker or iGaming products and solid financial and analytical skills:

  • 2+ years of experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner, including at least 1 year in poker-related products.
  • Strong understanding of poker economics (rake, rakeback, MTT, cash games, GTD, overlay).
  • Proven experience building financial models and evaluating ROI, promotional efficiency, and product economics.
  • Proficiency with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Metabase.
  • Basic SQL skills for data exploration and analysis.
  • Experience writing PRDs and managing product roadmaps in tools like Jira and Confluence.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret behavioral and financial data.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work across cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in iGaming or betting environments is highly desirable.
Benefits:
  • Fully remote work with flexible arrangements across Europe.
  • Competitive compensation package aligned with experience.
  • 20 paid vacation days plus public holidays and sick leave.
  • Private medical insurance and mental health support coverage.
  • Budget for personal development, learning, and professional training.
  • Access to internal events, workshops, and team-building activities.
  • Flexible benefit allowance for fitness, hobbies, and personal interests.
  • Clear career progression path with performance reviews and mentoring opportunities.
  • Collaborative, open culture with minimal bureaucracy and strong ownership mindset.
