Speech Language Pathologist
Pay Range:
$50-$65/hour
Job Description:
26/27 School Year | $50-$65/hour | Full-Time | Minneapolis, MN | State SLP and PEL License Required
About the Role: Speech therapy in a school is where you see the whole picture, the same students, the same team, all year long. As an SLP with Point Quest, you'll evaluate, plan, and deliver services that help K-12 students communicate and thrive, partnering closely with teachers and families to make progress stick. You'll do it with the backing of in-house clinical support and a school-year schedule, and if you're a clinical fellow, we'll help you launch your career strong.

What You'll Do:
  • Conduct formalized and dynamic assessments to determine eligibility and level of functioning
  • Ability to conduct Speech Assessments in Spanish.
  • Develop and coordinate treatment plans with interdisciplinary team members
  • Provide direct speech therapy services aligned with IEP goals
  • Complete and maintain compliant IEPs; participate in annual and triennial reviews
  • Consult with teachers and families to support generalization of communication skills
  • Maintain accurate therapy notes, assessment data, and progress documentation
  • Supervise and support SLPAs, including monitoring supervision hours (if applicable)

What We're Looking For:
Must Have:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program.
  • DOJ/FBI Live Scan background and TB clearance
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication

Preferred:
  • One year of experience in speech therapy
  • Department of Education certification
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices and special education programs
  • Experience with school-based caseload management
