Job description

Social Media Marketing Internship — Sigma Commercial LLC

Location: Milwaukee, WI (East Side) — On-site

Employment Type: Full-Time, Internship (3 months)

About Us

Sigma Commercial LLC is a Milwaukee-based holding company overseeing four operating businesses: LaBonte Construction (luxury residential remodeling), Property Prep (commercial maintenance and janitorial), Vandelay Group (residential property management), and Sigma Commercial itself (shared back office). We're a small, hands-on team - people wear multiple hats and things get done without a lot of red tape.

The Role

We're looking for a Social Media Marketing Intern to build and run our social presence across three brands: Property Prep LLC, LaBonte Construction LLC, and our CEO's personal brand. We have strong video and podcast content already being produced in-house - we just don't distribute it well. You'll own fixing that: turning existing assets into platform-native content and building a real posting cadence across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and web.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a social media content plan for Property Prep LLC, LaBonte Construction LLC, and the CEO's personal brand
  • Manage and grow presence across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and web/website content
  • Repurpose existing assets from our YouTube channels and podcast into platformnative content: clips, quote graphics, carousels, reels, and similar formats
  • Design graphics and shortform visual content using Adobe Creative Suite and Canva
  • Support basic updates and content additions to WordPressbased websites
  • Collaborate directly with our inhouse video and audio team to scope and request new assets as needed
  • Maintain a consistent posting calendar across all three brands and four platforms
  • Track basic performance metrics (engagement, follower growth, reach) and adjust the plan based on what's working
  • Keep brand voice and messaging distinct and appropriate across Property Prep, LaBonte Construction, and the personal brand
  • What We're Looking For
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in marketing, communications, digital media, or a related field
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere, or similar) for graphics and content editing
  • Proficiency with Canva for fastturnaround social and marketing graphics
  • Familiarity with WordPress for basic website updates a plus
  • Genuine familiarity with Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn from a business/brand management perspective, not just personal use
  • Strong writing skills and an eye for what makes content stop the scroll
  • Selfstarter who can manage multiple brand voices and platforms without constant oversight
  • Comfortable proposing a plan and defending it, not just waiting for direction
  • What You'll Gain
  • Real ownership over three distinct brand presences, not busywork
  • Direct collaboration with a professional video/audio production team
  • Portfolioready work: campaigns, growth metrics, and content you can point to after the internship ends
  • Exposure to how a multibrand company approaches marketing across construction, property management, and personal branding
  • Compensation & Logistics
  • $16.00/hour, fulltime (40 hrs/week)
  • 3month duration, inperson at our Milwaukee East Side office, with potential to extend or convert based on performance
