We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Certified Sprinkler Fitter to join our team. Job Overview:
As a Certified Sprinkler Fitter at D7 Pneumatics LLC, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems, ensuring that projects meet high-quality standards and are completed safely and efficiently. You will collaborate with other team members and provide technical guidance to apprentices and other field personnel. You will play a key role in ensuring projects are executed according to specifications and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with the Superintendent/Foreman: Work closely with the Superintendent/Foreman to determine the most efficient methods for completing assigned and special projects.
  • Material and Equipment Management: Help assess and determine the material, tools, and equipment needed for the successful completion of each job, ensuring timely and accurate procurement.
  • Quality and Safety Assurance: Ensure adherence to quality and safety controls, maintaining a safe work environment and delivering projects with zero time lost due to accidents or safety incidents.
  • Care and Maintenance of Company Property: Take responsibility for the proper use and care of all company-issued vehicles, equipment, and tools, protecting them from damage, deterioration, or theft. Ensure that all company property is kept clean and well-maintained.
  • Training and Development: Assist in the development and training of field personnel on proper installation procedures, promoting a high level of professionalism and safety awareness among the team.
  • Technical Consultation: Provide technical support and advice to apprentices, technicians, designers, and shop employees to resolve issues and maintain high installation standards.
  • Additional Duties: Respond to other responsibilities assigned by the Labor Supervisor and/or Project Foreperson, contributing to team success and project efficiency.
  • Other Duties as Assigned: Undertake additional tasks as requested by management, ensuring the smooth operation of projects and the company.

Qualifications:

  • REQUIRED: 3 or more years of experience installing sprinkler systems
  • Preferred: 5 or more years of experience installing sprinkler systems
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Skilled in the use of tools and equipment related to sprinkler fitting and fire protection systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and diagnostic abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to work safely in accordance with OSHA regulations and company safety protocols.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively with team members, apprentices, and management.
  • Capable of lifting heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and working in a variety of environments, including confined spaces and elevated areas.
  • Ability to take initiative and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Must have a valid driverโ€™s license and a clean driving record.
