Job Summary:
Exotic Automation & Supply is a company that focuses on product support and training in the pneumatic sector. They are seeking a Product Manager to oversee product strategy, provide technical support and training, and manage customer and sales support efforts.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Plans strategy for sales of, and provides technical knowledge/training for, assigned products and/or product groups
โ€ข Assists management in development of long/short-term business plan and preparing sales forecasts and plans
โ€ข Introduction of new technologies
โ€ข Identifies key competitors/competitive products and provides feedback to Account Managers and Sales Management
โ€ข Responsible for providing product information support on assigned product groups
โ€ข Provides training at all levels for product expertise
โ€ข Responsible for field applications, system designs and customer product developments/enhancements
โ€ข Works with technical representatives, distributors, marketing and product teams adapting products to customer needs
โ€ข Documents and provides detailed customer proposals
โ€ข Searches and develops new customer targets to achieve sales growth objectives
โ€ข Makes joint sales calls with Account Managers
โ€ข Responsible for customer concern and non-conforming material processes
โ€ข Promotes positive Supplier relationships
โ€ข Works with Supplier Management Team in development of supplier and distributor contracts
โ€ข Responsible for making inventory recommendations
โ€ข Manages special supplier programs and rebate selling levels
โ€ข Creates and drives sales promotions
โ€ข Assists Retail Service group with strategies and programs
โ€ข Provides timely reports summarizing findings on a given product or project
โ€ข Enhances profit through continuous productivity, throughput, customer service, quality and cost reduction
โ€ข Responsible for process improvement recommendations
โ€ข Assists with Marketing material creation
โ€ข Participates in and coordinates product line specific trade shows and open house activities
โ€ข Champions and presents at Exotic University as assigned
โ€ข Participates in corporate on-boarding and orientation programs
โ€ข Performs other duties as assigned or requested
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Bachelorโ€™s degree in related area of responsibility (may substitute three (3) years of sales-related work experience)
โ€ข Three (3) years of experience in sales-related roleโ€“ technical and industry specific preferred
โ€ข Previous experience working on a computer--CRM experience preferred
โ€ข Ability to be available for 24-hour customer support
โ€ข Valid driver's license
โ€ข Ability to maintain a vehicle that seats four adults comfortably as well as meeting Exotic standards for cleanliness, safety and insurance compliance
