What You Do
- Perform welding tasks on mining equipment, machinery, and structures following blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Ensure adherence to the highest standards of quality, safety, and craftsmanship.

- Operate and maintain welding machines and tools in a safe manner.
- Adhere to company safety protocols and comply with all relevant industry regulations, including California occupational safety and health standards.
- Work in a fast-paced environment exposed to varying temperatures and potential hazards.
- Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency.
What You Bring
- Minimum 5 years of welding experience in a similar industrial setting.
- Proven track record as a welder, preferably in mining, construction, or industrial sectors.
- Proficiency in various welding techniques, including MIG, Stick, Air Arc, gas welding, and related equipment.
- Certification in welding (CWB, AWS, or equivalent) preferred.
- Working knowledge of preheat and post-weld heat treatment procedures.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Thorough understanding of safety standards and best practices in welding and mining operations, meeting California regulatory requirements.
- Capability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic work environment.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, reaching, stooping, and climbing.
- Ability to work in adverse weather conditions and rough terrain.
- Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to climb as needed and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Willing and able to do shift work as needed.
