A PMO analyst tracks data that streams through the department and ensures that every phase of company projects run smoothly. As a PMO analyst, you examine reported data and determine whether or not the procedures used at the company should be improved to increase efficiency. You also monitor expenses to ensure projects stay within budget. Many who have several years of experience in project management move into this management position.
