Prep Cook Job Description:
Our Prep Cooks are part of our collaborative kitchen team responsible for preparing a variety of ingredients with precision and care. Attention to detail and desire to work in a team environment contribute to the success of this position.
What You Will Do:
  • Wash and chop produce, measure ingredients, prep stations by following prep list.
  • Follow strict food safety and sanitation standards, including proper food handling, storage, and labeling.
  • Work closely with the kitchen team ensuring proper food preparation for a smooth and efficient food service
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace by performing cleaning tasks, sanitizing equipment and organizing food storage.
  • Follow safety policies and procedures including proper knife and kitchen utensil handling and wearing proper protective gear and maintaining a safe working environment.

About You:
  • Basic kitchen knowledge preferred but no experience required.
  • Great at following direction and step by step instruction with accuracy.
  • Enjoy working as part of a collaborative team with excellent communication.
  • Able to prioritize tasks safely and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs. continuously stand, walk, reach, bend in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
