We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Plumbing Department Manager to lead and oversee the operations of our plumbing division. This role is critical in ensuring high-quality job execution, effective team leadership, and driving the department toward profit and revenue targets.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the plumbing division, ensuring top-tier service and job quality.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of plumbers, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
  • Set and track departmental goals, focusing on profitability, customer satisfaction, and growth.
  • Manage project scheduling, resource allocation, and identify areas for operational improvements.
  • Handle budgeting, forecasting, and P&L (Profit and Loss) management to ensure the department's financial success.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement strategies for long-term growth and success.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of management experience in the plumbing industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing teams and driving results.
  • Contractor's License (preferred but not required).
  • Strong hands-on experience in residential plumbing.
  • Solid understanding of budgeting and P&L management.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and address challenges efficiently.

Work Environment:

  • Work in field environments across residential job sites, climbing ladders and navigating uneven surfaces. Regularly works in confined spaces and moves materials up to 50 pounds.
