Customer Service Sales Representative

 Wakefield MA

Hours: Monday through Friday (9:00AM-5:30PM)

About 128 Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electric:

128 Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electric is a privately owned and locally operated company based in Wakefield, MA. We are committed to delivering exceptional service, building long-term customer relationships, and creating a positive, accountable team culture. When you join 128 PHCE, you're not joining a corporate chain - you're joining a local company that values its employees and the community it serves.

If you love connecting with people, enjoy turning conversations into results, and want to grow with a strong local company, we'd love to meet you.

Love Talking to People? Thrive on Helping Customers? Enjoy Closing the Deal?

If you're energized by conversations, naturally persuasive, and love turning great service into sales opportunities, this role is for you.

128 Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electric is a privately owned, locally operated home services company proudly serving homeowners throughout the North Shore and Greater Boston area. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Customer Service Sales Representative who enjoys building relationships, following up with customers, and helping homeowners say "yes" to solutions that improve their comfort and peace of mind.

This is not a passive, behind-the-scenes customer service role. This is an active, high-energy position where you'll be on the phone connecting with customers, following up on service and sales opportunities, recovering unsold estimates, and converting customers into long-term maintenance members.

You'll report directly to the Customer Service Manager and work closely with our service, sales, dispatch, and marketing teams to create an exceptional customer experience from start to finish.

What You'll Do
  • Make outbound calls to follow up on open service and sales estimates

  • Reconnect with customers and turn missed opportunities into closed revenue

  • Upsell maintenance plans, service agreements, and system upgrades

  • Clearly explain the value of our services and confidently ask for the sale

  • Provide knowledgeable guidance on HVAC, plumbing, and electrical services

  • Track your pipeline, follow-ups, and results in our CRM system

  • Generate reports on sales activity and performance

  • Support marketing campaigns through targeted outreach

  • Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings with professional, friendly communication

  • Collaborate across departments to ensure every customer interaction is smooth and positive

  • Support other business needs when applicable

What Makes You a Great Fit
  • You genuinely enjoy talking to people and building rapport

  • You're confident, persuasive, and comfortable handling objections

  • You're motivated by goals and love winning

  • You have strong customer service instincts and a solution-oriented mindset

  • You're organized and disciplined with follow-up

  • You're energized by outbound calling and consistent activity

  • Experience in inside sales, customer service, call center, or home services is a plus

What You'll Get
  • Competitive base pay plus performance incentives

  • Growth opportunities within a growing, locally owned company

  • Ongoing training and product knowledge development

  • A supportive, team-oriented culture

  • The opportunity to directly impact revenue and customer satisfaction

  • Health, Vision, and Dental Insurance (128 Covers 75% of Health Benefits)

  • 401k Retirement Plan with 4% IRA Matching
