Job description

Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, Fiat of Morgantown, WV is searching for a Motivated Career-Driven Technician for CDJRF Retailer with 1+ years of experience.

CDJRF experience is preferred but we will train the right candidates from Pep Boys, NTB, Midas or Firestone. Here at CDJRF we have excellent mentorship from our senior master technicians as well as direct in person training offered to you at no cost.

Job Duties:

  • Communicate directly with the service advisor to inform customers of any additional repairs and or services needed.
  • Perform quality inspections and repairs prior to returning the vehicle to the customer.
  • Perform warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications.
  • Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engines, transmissions, electrical, steering, brakes, HVAC, suspension, alignments, and accessories.
  • Must have operating knowledge of shop equipment such as, vehicle lift, alignment machine, tire machine, wheel balancer, diagnostic scan tools, and brake rotor/drum resurfacing equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Must be willing to perform video walkaround and include photos with Digital MPI tool when completing estimates for customers.

Qualifications:

  • CDJRF experience (preferred) but will train the right candidate.
  • West Virginia safety inspection license.
  • West Virginia Emission inspection license.
  • Detail oriented, capable of high-quality repair.
  • Current driver’s license.
  • Current 609 refrigerant license.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Positive attitude along with customer service quality mentality.
  • Be able to lift 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures.
  • Minimum of 1 year of service department experience.

Job Type: Full-time

  • Hours guaranteed for the first 90 days, this will give you plenty of time to learn our processes and procedures.

Schedule: 40-hour work week with Saturday rotation. Sundays and 1 other day off.

Pay Range: $25 - $40/hr. flat rate based on experience and productivity
