Position location: Lansing: Resource will be working a hybrid schedule. NO REMOTE ONLY OPTION. Will need to be onsite from day 1, two days a week (Tuesdays and Wednesdays are required onsite days).

8+ years of experience in software quality assurance and automated testing.
Strong proficiency in Python for building test automation frameworks, writing test scripts, and integrating with CI/CD pipelines.

Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Software Test Engineer with deep expertise in
functional testing, automation, API validation, performance testing, and
enterprise system integrations. This role requires strong technical skills,
leadership capabilities, and experience working in Agile environments to
ensure quality across complex enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities
Lead QA strategy and best practices for enterprise applications (Payments, CRM).
Mentor junior QA engineers and provide technical guidance.
Design and implement automation frameworks using Playwright (Python) and Pytest.
Automate REST API testing using REST Assured.
Execute performance and load tests using Locust, JMeter, or LoadRunner.
Validate data integrity across systems using SQL (joins, multi-table queries, CTE).
Maintain and enhance legacy test scripts in UFT/VBScript.
Integrate automated tests into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
Collaborate with developers, architects, and product owners in Agile teams.
Perform security and compliance testing (PCI DSS, GDPR, HIPPA) for enterprise systems.
Ensure accessibility and usability compliance for applications.
Conduct Manual and automated accessibility evaluations.
Manage test cases and reporting using Azure Test Plans or similar tools.
Create and maintain test documentation (BRD, FRD, SRS, RTM).
Oversee test environment setup and test data management.
Qualifications
8+ years of experience in software testing, including automation and performance testing.
Strong experience with Playwright (Python) and Pytest.
API automation using REST Assured.
Proficiency in SQL for data validation.
Hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 functional testing.
Performance testing tools: Locust, JMeter, or LoadRunner.
Familiarity with Git, Allure, and Azure DevOps pipelines.
Experience with test data management and environment configuration.
Knowledge of security standards (PCI, GDPR) and accessibility guidelines.
Knowledge of WCAG 2.1/2.2 guidelines
Knowledge of assistive technologies (i.e. JAWS, NVDA)
Excellent communication and leadership skills for cross-functional collaboration.
Nice to Have
