Reports to: Guest Services ManagerPrimary Purpose: Operate Players' Lounge Service Desk

Responsibilities:

  • Provide friendly and knowledgeable customer service.
  • Sell betting carrels and manage seating map of Players' Lounge
  • Handle and resolve any customer needs or problems in Players' Lounge
  • Administer basic procedures for Park Rewards program
  • Turn televisions on and off; adjust channels as necessary
  • Sell programs and other racing related periodicals when required
  • Neatly and accurately complete inventory and till sheets.
  • Have a thorough knowledge and understanding of Park services, promotions and events.
  • Assist other department personnel as directed.
  • Keep work area clean and neat, Display products as directed.
  • Attend meetings and training sessions as scheduled.

Education/Certification: High school diploma preferred.

Work Experience:

  • Training will be provided by department manager. 
  • Must possess good verbal communication skilfs with solid customer service orientation.
  • Cash handling and accurate math skills required.
  • Must be adaptable to a variety of specialized computer software applications.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English language.
