Job description

Position expanding to Spring, Fall, and Summer seasons

The Winter Futsal Youth Coach plays a key role in supporting MegCity League Teams and delivering high-quality futsal programming throughout the winter season. Working with players ages U6-U17, this coach helps develop technical skills, creativity, quick decision-making, and confidence in an exciting indoor environment. As MegCity continues to grow, this role will expand to include Spring, Fall, and Summer outdoor and indoor programming, providing year-round coaching opportunities.

Essential Functions
  • Coach age- and skill-appropriate winter futsal sessions for MegCity League players (U6-U17).

  • Implement futsal-specific training focused on ball control, tight-space dribbling, quick passing, movement, and small-sided games.

  • Deliver a fun, fast-paced, and competitive environment that supports player development.

  • Provide individualized feedback, guidance, and support during and after sessions.

  • Independently implement MegCity's curriculum and training methodology.

  • Represent MegCity League Teams in a professional, positive, and engaging manner.

  • Availability to work evenings and weekends, especially during winter futsal season.

Skills and Experience
  • 18 years of age or older with reliable transportation.

  • Coaching qualifications (USSF, Futsal Federation, NSCAA, or foreign equivalent) preferred.

  • Playing or coaching experience in soccer or futsal strongly preferred.

Physical Abilities

  • Ability to use hands for demonstrating skills and handling training equipment.
