Position Summaryย 

This roleย is responsible forย leading enterprise-wide organizational training,ย overseeing licensing and carrier appointment processes, and providing project management oversight for cross-functional initiatives. The role also serves as an active contributor to the agencyโ€™s Automation and Innovation Committee, supporting continuous improvement, scalability, and enterprise alignment.ย 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Organizationalย Developmentย Governance & Enablementย 

  • Partner with department leaders and agency leadership to develop andย maintainย a cohesive, enterprise-wide organizationalย developmentย framework that supports professional development, leadership capability, compliance awareness, and corporate standards.ย 
  • Continuously evaluateย organizationย developmentย programs for consistency, quality, and effectiveness across the organization.ย 
  • Collaborate with leaders toย identifyย future enterprise-level training needs and agency-wide development priorities.ย 
  • Oversee and coordinate corporateย developmentย initiatives that are organizational in nature (e.g., leadership development, professional skills,ย compliance awareness, enterprise tools).ย 
  • Manage externalย developmentย content contributors to ensure training delivery is consistent, high-quality, and aligned with agency standards.ย 
  • Determineย and recommendย developmentย resources, platforms, and delivery methods based on organizationalย need.ย 

            Automation & Innovation Committee Participationย ย 

            • Serve as an active member of the Automation and Innovation Committee, contributing insights related to training enablement, licensing workflows, compliance, and process standardization.ย 
            • Partner with the Director ofย ITย  toย manage the vendor contracts to ensure best pricing and resourcesย 
            • Identifyย opportunities to streamline, automate, or enhance training governance, licensing processes, and project workflows.ย 
            • Partner with technology, operations, and leadership stakeholders to evaluate and support implementation of approved automation and innovation initiatives.ย 
            • Support change adoption by ensuring training and documentation align with newly implemented tools or processes.ย 

            Licensing & Carrier Appointment Leadershipย ย 

            • Serve as the primary lead for agency-wide licensing and carrier appointment strategy, execution, and oversight.ย 
            • Manage individual and entity licensing processes across applicable states and lines of business, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.ย 
            • Oversee carrier appointment applications, renewals, and documentation requirements.ย 
            • Establish, document, andย maintainย standardized licensing and carrier appointment processes.ย 
            • Partner with leadership, compliance, and internal stakeholders to proactivelyย identifyย and mitigate licensing or appointment risks.ย 
            • Track licensing and appointment status, reporting on compliance, gaps, and upcoming requirements.ย
