About the Role

The Casino Host is responsible for providing outstanding guest services to the guests of the Ocean Casino Resort

Position Responsibilities

  • Promote Ocean Casino Resort's Loyalty Card by making contact with perspective members, explaining the benefits and answering questions about membership through use of invitations, telemarketing techniques, email and direct player contact
  • Actively pursues new Loyalty Card prospects and promote the benefits of the Loyalty Card program.
  • This is a highly visible position both on and off Casino property, which requires professional behavior and appearance at all times.
  • Devotes significant time being visible and available on the casino floor in order to meet and greet guests during individual visits as well during special events.
  • Works with and supports player development by meeting customers and attending to customer needs.
  • Provides outstanding guest service and assists casino management with conflict resolution.
  • Supports all marking efforts including Loyalty Card Center and Special Events as needed.

Essential Functions

  • Exposure to casino related environmental factors including but not limited to secondhand smoke, excessive noise, and stress related to servicing customers in a high pressure and fast paced environment.
  • Must be able to stand for an entire shift and be able to move throughout the Casino/Hotel areas. Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 25 pounds
  • Must be able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts and/or unusual hours.

Requirements

  • College Degree preferred with an emphasis on Marketing, Business Administration or equivalent field preferred
  • Must have a minimum of one (1) year Casino Guest Service experience, including but not limited to Player Development, Slots, or Table Games.
  • One (1) year of hosting experience with adequate customer following preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal communication and sales skills required.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English

  • Our cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at $45,000 annually. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including experience and expertise and may vary from the amount listed above.
