We are dedicated to empowering stakeholders across the entire foodservice ecosystem (operators, distributors, manufacturers) with efficiency and unprecedented visibility. With a diverse portfolio of over a dozen brands, our mission is clear: to reduce costs, streamline the foodservice supply chain, and propel the industry from manual to automated. Today, we are one of the largest players in foodservice, with over 200K operator locations across North America and over $50 billion of aggregated spend volume. Our commitment to food service excellence is proven in four distinct areas of value: Digital Procurement Network, Fresh Solutions, Supply Chain Management, and Software. We are a global leader at the forefront of innovation in the Food Service industry and are actively seeking an exceptional Senior Analyst, Corporate Development (M&A) to join our dynamic Corporate Development team. Executing 10-15+ transactions per year across North America, Europe, and the Middle East, the team is a key engine of the Company's growth across its Digital Procurement Network (DPN), Software as a Service (SaaS), Supply Chain Consulting, and ancillary Food Service verticals.

Role Overview

As a Corporate Development Senior Associate, you will be an integral member of our Financial Analysis & Modeling team and play a key role in maintaining deal velocity- keeping transactions on pace and on track across the end-to-end M&A lifecycle, from target identification through deal close and integration handoff. Reporting to the General Counsel, you will build and refine the deal models that inform investment decisions, support cross-functional diligence workstreams, and help prepare the materials behind leadership recommendations. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-deal environment and wants to help build something great alongside an experienced deal team.

What You'll Do

Financial Modeling & Valuation
  • Build and maintain robust deal models including standalone P&L builds, synergy models, DCF analyses, deal returns (IRR/NPV), and accretion/dilution frameworks
  • Perform detailed Quality of Earnings (QoE) analysis using third-party FDD reports (KPMG, Deloitte, etc.) to identify EBITDA adjustments and diligence red flags
  • Construct synergy models grounded in commercial leader inputs-quantifying revenue uplift from facility adds, contract rate optimization, cross-sell, and platform program levers
  • Analyze historical and projected financial performance of targets to assess strategic fit and valuation, including comparable company and precedent transaction analyses

Target Sourcing & Market Intelligence
  • Conduct market mapping and competitive landscape analysis to identify high-potential acquisition, investment, and partnership targets
  • Maintain the M&A pipeline tracker and deal database across 10-15+ concurrent targets at various stages
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and transaction flow to inform M&A strategy and surface opportunities to leadership

Due Diligence & Deal Execution
  • Coordinate and project-manage cross-functional due diligence across Finance, Legal, HR, IT, Operations, and Commercial teams
  • Develop diligence workplans, coordinate communication with internal and external stakeholders (advisors, accountants, bankers), and track completion
  • Set up and manage secure data rooms; distill insights and critical questions from diligence materials for leadership review
  • Manage NDA workflows, data room access, and diligence logistics including on-site review coordination
  • Support negotiation of deal terms and transaction documentation in collaboration with Legal and external advisors

Executive & Board Materials
  • Support preparation of investment committee memos, IC presentation decks, and leadership recommendation packages
  • Draft concise executive summaries, synergy playbooks, and leadership briefing materials with minimal supervision
  • Produce recurring and ad hoc reporting including deal trackers, integration dashboards, and ELT pipeline updates

Integration & Post-Close Support

  • Ensure smooth deal handoff to the post-merger integration team, including financial system mapping and forecast alignment
  • Partner with Commercial and Finance Operations to track synergy realization and post-close financial performance
  • Support deal-related month-end close tasks such as post-close entries, purchase accounting coordination, and operational reviews

What You Bring

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • 2-4 years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, financial due diligence, or strategy consulting
  • Advanced financial modeling skills: comfortable building full P&L, DCF, deal returns, and synergy models from scratch in Excel
  • Strong understanding of valuation techniques, accounting principles, and M&A transaction mechanics
  • Excellent written communication-able to produce exec-ready deal summaries, memos, and stakeholder emails independently
  • Ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative inputs into clear strategic insights and present to senior leaders
  • Self-starter who can manage multiple concurrent deal workstreams, maintain rigorous organization, and deliver under tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; comfort with financial data platforms (FactSet, PitchBook, Capital IQ, or similar)

Preferred Qualifications
  • CPA, CFA (or candidate), MBA, or Master's in Accounting/Finance
  • Prior experience in foodservice, distribution, SaaS, or platform/roll-up business models
  • Exposure to cross-border M&A transactions
  • Experience with Big 4 financial due diligence or quality of earnings engagements
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, NetSuite) and data visualization tools
  • Demonstrated interest in applying AI and automation tools to streamline M&A workflows
