JOB DESCRIPTION
Hourly Shift Manager

As an Hourly Shift Manager, you’ll help run the daily flow of the restaurant, support your team, and make sure every guest has a great experience. Whether you’re looking for full-time or part-time hours, you’ll be part of a purpose-driven, guest-first team.

What You’ll Do

Responsibilities:

  • Delegate tasks to restaurant team members and supervise performance to keep everything running smoothly

  • Maintain a fully-stocked restaurant by monitoring inventory and ordering food supplies as needed

  • Ensure shifts are covered by coordinating scheduling needs (including time off and coverage requests)

  • Coach and help team members resolve day-to-day challenges on the job

  • Track and influence daily performance by reviewing costs and revenue, including labor, food cost, guest satisfaction, and sales

  • Balance the cash drawer accurately at the end of each shift

  • Coordinate with suppliers and help ensure deliveries are received and stored properly

  • Support an excellent guest experience by addressing concerns professionally and resolving complaints with care

  • Open or close the restaurant when scheduled as the first or last shift manager

  • Communicate important updates to the next shift manager so nothing falls through the cracks

  • Report maintenance needs, training opportunities, and operational concerns

  • Follow sanitation and safety policies to protect guests, team members, and the integrity of the restaurant
