Arcade & Attractions Technician
Location: Serving 3 Charlotte-Area Monster Mini Golf Locations (Charlotte, Gastonia, & Monroe)
Pay Rate: $25.00 / hour
Position Type: Part-Time / As-Needed (Flexible Hours)
About the Role
Looking for a rewarding side gig where you can put your hands-on technical skills to work? Monster Mini Golf is hiring a skilled, part-time Arcade & Attraction Technician to keep the fun running smoothly across our three Charlotte-area locations.
This is an as-needed, flexible gig-perfect for an experienced tech looking for supplemental income or a great secondary job. As our locations continue to thrive, this role has strong potential to grow into a full-time position for the right person.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a variety of arcade games, redemption machines, and indoor attractions.
Diagnose and repair electronic, mechanical, coin/bill acceptor, card reader, and wiring issues.
Coordinate with venue management at each location to prioritize urgent repair needs.
Travel between our three local venues as needed: Charlotte, Gastonia, and Monroe.
Keep clean, organized logs of service work and maintain game component inventories.
What We're Looking For
Industry Experience: Familiarity with arcade mechanics, redemption games, card readers (Semnox), and general attraction maintenance is strongly preferred.
Technical Skills: Comfortable using basic hand tools, multimeters, and soldering equipment.
Self-Motivated: Able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and solve problems efficiently.
Reliable Transportation: Valid driver's license and dependable vehicle to travel between the Charlotte, Gastonia, and Monroe locations.
Flexibility: Availability to respond to urgent equipment downtime or schedule routine work during off-peak hours.
