Job description

Wanna Play is a play based Child Care Center offering drop-in care, preschool, camps and after school care. We provide a unique service in child care and offer a creative alternative to traditional child care. Our objective is to help families with young children manage their lives by offering flexible, quality care in an environment where kids want to be.

We are seeking enthusiastic and caring candidates for our play guide team. Responsibilities include: maintaining licensing standards at all times while supervising and guiding children, assist with hygiene, meals and cleaning. We have Play Guide and Team Leader positions available for the right candidates.

We are open days, evenings and weekends. Flexibility to work 1 or 2 evenings and/or weekend shifts is required. We offer free child care to one child 18 mos and up, and reduced child care for sibling of our full time employees and reduced child care to part-time.

Applicants must pass a criminal background and fingerprint check, have current CPR/First Aid, and obtain a food handler's certification. Candidate criteria: A minimum of 6 months experience in preschool teaching, licensed child care, camp, or enrichment program. At least 18 years old Strong communication skills, general office skills and attention to detail.

Good physical condition & have ability to lift 40 lbs. Has own reliable transportation & a flexible schedule. Neat, professional appearance.
