The Electrical Products Machine Operator is responsible for operating the Wire Draw machines and/or our Plating lines. Productively and producing material within specification. This person is also responsible for changeovers, troubleshooting, and general housekeeping.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Operate machines efficiently an accurately
  • Ability to do quality checks, read a tape measure, and check straightness
  • Operate a forklift
  • Operate an overhead crane
  • Ability to complete production report at the end of the shift
  • Understand, maintain, and perform work according to quality and environmental standards
  • Maintain work area in a clean, safe, and orderly condition
  • Follow established company rules and regulations and safety precautions
  • Work hours assigned including overtime as required
  • Operate a mobile welder

Requirements
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience operating industrial machinery
  • Minimum of 1 year of forklift experience
  • Good time management and proven multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to be self-sufficient and self-motivated
  • Demonstrates initiative, sense of urgency and is self-motivated when addressing work task
  • Team oriented.

Preferred Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Overhead crane experience
