Job Description

This role is accountable for driving operational platform management across products and their related ecosystems within an agile operating model. The Platform Manager partners closely with business line stakeholders, Agile teams, and technology partners to deliver innovation, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance. Ideally we are seeking candidates with experience or exposure to AI/ML, GenAI, and Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) concepts, including document extraction, classification, and workflow automation. The Platform Manager works closely in a hands-on style with development team including addressing daily prioritization needs, providing real-time feedback and answering questions on an ongoing basis. Works with Product Management to set release dates, determine when sufficient value has been delivered to release to market, understand tradeoffs between schedule, scope and budget and communicates this information to the organization sometimes independently. Employs product management practices and tactics including customer research, data and analytics, and market research.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a primary liaison between business teams and technology partners, translating requirements into actionable work for development teams

  • Capture and document functional and technical requirements in agile format, including writing detailed user stories and acceptance criteria (primarily in JIRA)

  • Own and manage the product backlog, including prioritization based on business value and strategic alignment

  • Facilitate agile ceremonies as needed (e.g., stand-ups, backlog refinement), ensuring alignment across developers, product owners, SMEs, and testers

  • Provide day-to-day direction to development teams, including prioritization of work and real-time clarification of requirements

  • Support workload management across multiple concurrent projects, balancing competing priorities effectively

  • Partner with Product Management to support release planning, value delivery decisions, and tradeoff discussions (scope, timeline, budget)

  • Apply product management best practices, including user-centric thinking, data-informed decision-making, and continuous improvement

This role requires working from the posted U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Typically one or more years of related experience

Preferred Skills/Experience
- Experience or exposure to AI/ML, GenAI, and Intelligent Document Processing (IDP), including document extraction, classification, and workflow automation

Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

- Demonstrated ability to write clear, actionable agile user stories and acceptance criteria (JIRA preferred)

- Ability to collaboratively develop and evolve a product backlog
- Ability to develop and articulate a product vision that supports outcomes, value and prioritization of work
- Solid understanding of the Lean/Agile mindset
- Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills including ability to collaborate with and empower teams
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient computer navigation skills
- Standard industry certifications such as SAFe Agile Product Owner is a plus

Pay Range: $92,820.00 - $109,200.00
