As a Portfolio Analytics & Strategy Group Manager within PNC's Data, Modeling & Analytics Marketing & Customer Analytics organization, you will be based in Wilmington, DE, Pittsburgh, PA or Tysons Corner, VA.
Role Overview
We are seeking a senior, strategic analytics and campaign delivery leader to head Cards and Lending campaign execution and analytics across Consumer Card, Business Card, Unsecured Installment Loans (UIL), HELOC, and Mortgage products. This Senior role is accountable for end to end campaign delivery, governance, optimization, and performance insights, while setting the strategic direction for how campaigns are executed, measured, and scaled.
This leader will manage a high impact team of 7 (4 full time employees and 3 contractors) and partner closely with Marketing, Credit Policy, Risk, Product, Data Science, and external vendors to ensure campaigns are delivered with precision, compliance, and measurable business impact.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Campaign Leadership
Own the strategic oversight of Cards and Lending campaign delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives, risk frameworks, and marketing priorities across all supported products.
Define and evolve the campaign delivery operating model, including governance, controls, and approval processes for selection criteria and execution.
Act as a senior thought partner to Marketing and Product leaders, translating campaign performance insights into clear strategic recommendations.
Campaign Execution & Platform Management
Lead the execution, audit, review, and approval of campaign selection criteria and ensure high quality final campaign delivery across prescreen and non prescreen channels.
Provide strategic oversight of campaign execution platforms (e.g., Experian Ascend Marketing), including data availability, data flows, and execution readiness.
Drive continuous improvement of campaign processes and data flows, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, scalability, and control within execution platforms.
Cross Functional & Vendor Partnership
Partner closely with Credit Policy, Marketing, Modeling, and external vendors to ensure campaigns are executed efficiently and in line with business and regulatory requirements.
Serve as a senior point of escalation for complex campaign delivery issues, providing decisive leadership and resolution.
Analytics, Reporting & Insights
Lead campaign delivery reporting and tracking across channels (Branch, Online Banking, Mobile, Call Center) and products (Cards, UIL, HELOC, Mortgage).
Analyze campaign delivery gaps, identify optimization opportunities, and clearly communicate insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
Support market and product expansion efforts through acquisition focused analytics, including market sizing, market share analysis, win rate analysis, and credit profile insights by geography.
People Leadership
Lead, develop, and inspire a 7 member team (4 Full Time, 3 contractor employees), fostering a culture of accountability, urgency, and continuous improvement.
Set clear priorities, coach senior team members, and ensure the team delivers consistently high quality outcomes at scale.
Preferred skills & experience:
15+ years of progressive experience in marketing analytics, campaign delivery, or related roles within financial services or lending.
Demonstrated senior leadership experience managing teams and influencing across Marketing, Product, Risk, and Analytics organizations.
Deep knowledge of retail lending products, including credit cards, personal loans business cards, HELOC, and mortgage.
Strong expertise in prescreen and nonprescreen acquisition campaigns, including proactive prescreen and reactive prescreen processes.
Proven ability to translate complex analytics into executivelevel insights and decisions.
Familiarity with campaign execution and analytics tools such as Experian Ascend Marketing, Tableau, SQL, Hadoop, HIVE, and Python (preferred).

  • Provides financial and regulatory reporting and analyses to maintain adequate controls over the financial and regulatory reporting processes. Responsible for running complex business performance, risk and operational analytics. May include the development of analytical methods/models to assess market, credit and/or operational risk of new and existing financial products.
  • Leverages business / product expertise to rigorously analyze large datasets, improve risk adjusted returns, deliver profitable growth, and communicate conclusions. Synthesizes analytical results and develops, recommends, and implements business strategies that improve lending decisions, assist in managing risk, increase revenues, reduce exposure to losses, meet business goals, and improve performance. Establishes baselines for strategies and tracks actual performance to expectations.
  • Applies predictive models, third party data, and other tools to develop and execute appropriate segmentation and targeting for acquisition and portfolio strategies to provide insight into portfolio risk. Manages engagements with internal and external information suppliers ensuring solution is fit for purpose while maintaining appropriate governance and oversight.
  • Understands and communicates regulatory and financial accounting impacts on the balance sheet to regulators and PNC control functions as appropriate. Interacts with regulators, internal audit, and management concerning credit portfolio analyses and credit risk appetite.
  • Evaluates market conditions and peer bank behavior to identify internal and external trends and issues affecting credit risk and return and to determine appropriate risk limits and optimal portfolio allocation.
  • Collaborates with the line of business, Finance, and Risk partners to assess and establish credit risk appetite and to understand its implications, as well as to establish policies and procedures governing the identification, monitoring, and management of risk appetite.
