Platform Engineers are IT professionals who design, build, and maintain the foundational technology systems (or platforms) that enable software development and operations teams to deploy and manage applications efficiently. Their work involves creating scalable, reliable, and automated infrastructure, often using tools like cloud services, container orchestration, and CI/CD pipelines.
