Merchant Services is a leading provider of payment, fraud, and data security for companies of all sizes and is engaging in a multi‑year international expansion, platform modernization.

As a Product Platform Director for Transaction Processing in Merchant Services, you own platform capabilities spanning the full payments lifecycle, including pay‑in processing, network and payment‑method economics, compliance with payment brand rules, and post‑purchase events. The ideal candidate brings deep payments knowledge, strong commercial judgment, a controls‑oriented mindset, and proven experience owning large‑scale platforms used by multiple downstream teams. As a leader on the team, you leverage your advanced capabilities to challenge traditional approaches, remove barriers to success, and foster a culture of continuous innovation that helps inspire cross‑functional teams create groundbreaking solutions that address customer needs.

Job responsibilities
  • Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for one or more foundational payments platforms supporting shared capabilities across products and segments.
  • Lead platform ownership across the end-to-end payments lifecycle, including pay-in processing, economics, compliance, settlement considerations, and post-transaction events.
  • Build and operate systems of record and reusable services (APIs, workflows, data models, controls) consumed by multiple solution teams.
  • Balance long-term platform health (scalability, reliability, reuse) with near-term delivery of regulatory, network-mandated, and risk-driven commitments.
  • Ensure platforms support commercial outcomes, including margin integrity, cost-of-payments optimization, and transparent economics.
  • Drive strong governance, controls, and audit-ready evidence as platform features, not downstream processes.
  • Leverage data, analytics, and AI to automate repetitive processes, surface anomalies, and identify hidden risk or opportunity in large data sets.
  • Partner closely with Technology, Risk, Compliance, Finance, Operations, and Solution teams to deliver consistent and scalable outcomes.
  • Act as senior decision owner for platform-level tradeoffs, issue resolution, and prioritization in complex or ambiguous situations. Communicate platform posture, risks, and progress clearly to senior leadership.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • 8+ years of experience or equivalent expertise delivering products, projects, or technology applications
  • Broad understanding of payments ecosystems, including networks, payment methods, fees, operating rules, and lifecycle events.
  • Extensive knowledge of the product development life cycle, technical design, and data analytics
  • Proven ability to influence the adoption of key product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
  • Experience driving change within organizations and managing stakeholders across multiple functions
