What is a platform developer?

A Platform Developer is a software professional who designs, builds, and maintains the underlying frameworks and tools that support applications or services on a specific platform. They focus on creating features, APIs, and integrations that enable other developers to build upon the platform efficiently. Platform Developers often work with cloud services, databases, and middleware, and they play a key role in ensuring scalability, security, and reliability of the platform. Their work enables businesses to deliver robust digital products and services more effectively.

What skills and qualifications are needed to thrive as a platform developer?

To thrive as a Platform Developer, you need strong programming skills, a solid understanding of software architecture, and experience with APIs, generally supported by a degree in computer science or related fields.
