We are seeking candidates with the ability to work night shift D - 2-2-3 schedule with the hours 6:00PM – 6:30AM

Job Overview:

As a Production Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our production process and the timely delivery of high-quality products to our customers. You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day production activities, coordinating schedules, and implementing process improvements to optimize productivity and quality.

What You will Do:

  • Achieve desired production performance results across all KPIs, including tracking and ownership of improvement for key KPI’s.
  • Supervise and direct the work of direct reports (25 to 35) across assigned shift. Identify projects to drive to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
  • Responsible for safety compliance and environmental policies and for ensuring that all employees adhere to these policies, including basic housekeeping and 5S.
  • Utilize time-keeping system to monitor and approve work hours.
  • Assist in projects related to safety and process improvements.
  • Work well cross functionally with maintenance and quality to ensure optimal production and to products meet specifications.
  • Ensure employees have the proper training and tools to perform their job effectively and efficiently.
  • Actively lead and/or participate in plant Safety Committees, OEE workshops and projects, 5S and kaizen projects, etc.
  • Assist on the production line when needed.

You will Be a Good Fit If You Have:

  • 2+ years of experience in a production supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
  • 1+ years plastics blow molding operations (injection of preforms, 2-Stage, EBM, ISBM, IBM).
  • Strong leadership and people skills, with the ability to effectively manage a diverse team.
  • In-depth knowledge of production processes, including assembly, machining, and quality control.
  • Proven history of implementing process improvements to drive operational efficiency.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficient in using production management software and ERP systems.
  • Demonstrated understanding of safety regulations and ability to promote a safe working environment.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written in English and Spanish is a plus!
