Job description


Maintenance Technician needed for Plastics Manufacturing company. 49-year-old family-owned company with three shifts, five days. Full time position.

Responsibilities:

  • Repair, maintain, and upgrade plastic processing equipment and associated machinery
  • Document repairs and PM in computer software program
  • Respond to maintenance work orders in a timely fashion
  • Observe all safety procedures in maintenance activities, repairs and upgrades

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in maintenance, manufacturing or other related fields
  • Strong mechanical aptitude skills and troubleshooting including reading schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Experience and familiarity with industrial tools, mechanical and electrical repair, some welding and machining
  • Good oral and written communication skills, familiarity with common computer software programs

Other:

  • Typically 1st shift assignment, occasional call-in if critical repair needed on other shifts
