Supplier Development Engineer

Position Summary

Support supplier development activities acrossFox PVG Supply Chain.Assist intraining andreviewing Supplier Launch PPAP documentation, resolvingescalatedsupplier quality issues, and driving cost and quality improvements. Partner with internal project teams and suppliers to ensure products meet Fox Factory quality, cost, and delivery expectations.

Position Responsibilities

  • Support project teams to ensure suppliers meet requirements and development timelines.

  • Assist with Safe Launch planning and supplier readiness activities.

  • Support suppliers in developing robust process flows to meet quality and throughput targets.

  • Help review supplier capability, OEE, and reported capacity.

  • Participate in supplier quality system audits and follow-up actions.

  • Lead supplier'sRun @ Ratevalidationactivities,ensuring accuracy of process documentation

  • Assist with New Supplier onboarding processes

  • Conducts new Supplierassessments,reviews all supporting documentation, and responsible for closing out all identified open issues or audit findings.

  • Monitor and audit Supplier's quality management systems (ISO, IATF, AS9100, etc)

  • Train suppliers onFox Supply Chain expectations andPPAP requirements

  • Support root-cause investigations and containment activities for escalated supplier issues.

  • Partner with suppliers to improve overallperformance ratings,quality metrics and compliance.

  • Collaborate on DFM feedback and supplier-driven cost reduction opportunities.

Specific Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities

  • Thoroughunderstanding of APQP and PPAP requirements.

  • Foundational knowledge of common manufacturing processes(at least 2 of the 6 processes: PrecisionMachining, Forging-Impacts, Plastic Injection Molding, Electronics, Surface Finishes, Assembly).

  • Ability to support cost analysis and collaborate cross-functionally.

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data and articulate action plans.

  • Familiarity with ISO, IATF, or AS9100 standards.

  • Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally.

  • Knowledge ofGD&T, 6/8D methodologies, and Capability analysis.

  • Proficiency in reviewing drawings and engineering requirements.

  • Eagerness to learn Fox Factory product requirements.

Position Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering required

Experience:

  • 3-5years of relevant engineering experience (supplier development, supplier quality, manufacturing, or related field)
