Signarama Jacksonville is seeking a Production Manager with a strong fabrication background to lead our shop and bring complex signage projects to life. This role is ideal for someone who knows their way around a production floor, enjoys building things with their hands, and can lead a team without losing touch with the work itself.

What Youll Be Doing
  • Oversee daily fabrication and production operations in the shop
  • Lead projects involving metal, wood, plastics, vinyl, and illuminated signage
  • Work closely with sales and design to turn concepts into buildable, efficient solutions
  • Plan workflow, assign jobs, and adjust priorities to keep production moving
  • Mentor and support fabricators, installers, and production staff
  • Stay involved on the floor troubleshooting builds, improving methods, and setting the standard
  • Inspect finished work to ensure strength, accuracy, and visual quality
  • Manage materials, tools, equipment, and shop organization
  • Identify opportunities to improve fabrication processes, efficiency, and safety
What Were Looking For
  • Strong background in sign fabrication or custom manufacturing

  • Experience with materials such as aluminum, steel, ACM, plastics, wood, and vinyl
  • Familiarity with fabrication tools and equipment (CNC, routers, welders, brake, saws, etc.)
  • Leadership or lead-person experience in a shop or production environment
  • Ability to read drawings, specs, and design files and translate them into builds
  • Practical problem-solver who can adapt when plans change
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
(Experience with illuminated signs, channel letters, monument signs, or architectural signage is a big plus.)
