Wheaton, MN - 1st Shift (Mon.-Thu. 7am-5pm)

The Plastics Injection Molding Press Operator is responsible for making parts in our plastics molding department, while ensuring finished parts meet customer specifications and company quality standards. This position is also responsible for ensuring that production processes are accurate and efficient, and that safety and quality standards are maintained throughout all areas in the facility.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure that safety is always the number one priority at Alexandria Industries; promote and support a safe work environment and safety oriented culture by following all safety programs and guidelines.
  • Cleaning vacuum systems, clearing alarms, purging out the press, maintaining a clean, neat, work area.
  • Be able to run high volume parts and being able to inspect and package them correctly.
  • Being able to maintain the quoted part per our output.
  • This job requires the operator to be paying attention and keep learning.
  • Forklift certification may be required, (will train on site).
  • Be a team player.
