The Plant Manager will provide strategic and operational leadership for Creative Plastics, ensuring the safe, efficient, and profitable execution of all manufacturing activities. This individual will be responsible for driving performance across production, quality, safety, maintenance, inventory, and workforce development while fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate is an energetic and hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, possesses strong business acumen, and is passionate about developing people and building high-performing teams. This position will work closely with senior leadership to support customer expectations, improve operational performance, and position the business for long-term growth.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic and operational leadership for Creative Plastics ensuring the safe, efficient, and profitable execution of all manufacturing activities
  • Drive performance across production, quality, safety, maintenance, inventory and workforce development
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence
  • Develop people and build high-performing teams
  • Work closely with senior leadership to support customer expectations, improve operational performance and position the business for long-term growth

Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience in the Plastic Industry (preferably extrusion & injection)
  • Demonstrated manufacturing leadership experience
  • Prior success driving continuous improvement and operational processing
  • Strong background in safety and quality
  • Ability to read technical drawings
  • Strong communication skills and visible leader on the manufacturing floor
  • Desire to learn, drive results and embrace innovation, technology, and change
  • Strategic Workforce development experience preferred
  • Supply chain, inventory management, root cause, and problem-solving experience preferred

Supervision Received:
Works with minimal supervision. Issues and concerns need to be communicated to the supervisor.
Physical Requirements:
  • Lifting: Frequently raises objects from a lower to a higher position or moves objects horizontally from position to position. Weight is often more than 50 lbs.
  • Push/Pull: Frequently uses upper extremities to exert force in order to draw, haul or tug objects in a sustained motion. Weight is often more than 50 lbs.
  • Reaching: Extends hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction. Weight is often more than 50 lbs.
  • Stooping: Bends body downward and forward at the waist. Weight is often more than 50 lbs.
  • Standing: Standing for sustained periods at a time.
  • Walking: Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks often for sustained periods of time.

Manual dexterity as needed to operate a variety of machinery and equipment.
Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and tolerate exposure to typical noises and smells associated with the plant.
