Salary: 21.00
We are seeking a Machine Operator/ Material Handler to work with a company located near Willard Ut. The ideal candidate for this position should have a minimal of 2 years machine operating and manufacturing experience. As a plastic injection machine operator runs and monitors molding machines, loading plastic pellets, setting controls (temp, pressure, time), removing finished parts, trimming excess plastic, and performing basic quality checks to produce plastic caps, ensuring smooth, safe production and adherence to quality standards.
Responsibilities-
  • Machine Operation: Starting, stopping, and monitoring injection molding machines.
  • Material Handling: Loading plastic resins/pellets into the hopper, potentially mixing colors.
  • Parameter Setting: Adjusting machine settings (heat, pressure, molding time) per work orders.
  • Quality Control: Inspecting molded parts for defects, trimming flash (excess plastic).
  • Maintenance: Performing minor adjustments, cleaning, and sometimes changing molds.
  • Packaging: Boxing finished products for shipment or further assembly.
  • Troubleshooting: Identifying and fixing minor issues to keep production running.

Skills & Qualifications-
  • Technical: Understanding of molding processes, machine mechanics, and quality tools (calipers, gauges).
  • Soft Skills: Attention to detail, problem-solving, ability to follow instructions, and teamwork.

Work Environment-
  • Fast-paced manufacturing setting, often noisy.
