To effectively perform as a CNC Plasma Cutting Operator.

Machine Operation

  • Recalling Sheet "Nests"
  • Machine Startup
  • Loading Cutting Table
  • Using Crane to Unload Cutting Table
  • Proper Part Labeling

Operations Outside of Machine Operation

  • Using Forklift to load Transfer Trailer
  • Driving Truck and Transfer Trailer
  • Steel Yard Organization
  • Steel Type Differentiation
  • Measuring Steel Thicknesses
  • Proper Scrap Labeling
  • Blueprint Reading: Cutting Correct Yield, Thickness, Per Prints
  • Machine Maintenance
  • Perform Machine and Work Area Cleanliness duties

Advance Tasks

  • Mastercam: Converting DXF Files into Sheet Nests
  • Layout Sheet Nests
