Plant Operator Job Overview: Our client is seeking to add a NEW Plant Operator to their team

The Plant Operator is responsible for overseeing all aspects of plant operations during their assigned shift. This role focuses on operating the facility at peak efficiency to maximize production output while maintaining safety and quality standards. The Plant Operator continuously monitors systems, performs product quality checks, completes routine maintenance tasks, and records operational data.

Additionally, this role provides supervision and support to on-duty equipment operators. This is a Direct Hire role. Reports To: Plant Manager on Duty Supervises: Toter and Loader Operator What you will be doing as a Plant Operator..

Operate the plant with a strong commitment to safety and a "Safety First" mindset Maintain a thorough understanding of plant systems and processes Monitor plant operations to ensure optimal performance and efficiency Perform product quality checks, including: Bulk density Particle size distribution (Ro-tap) Moisture levels Communicate effectively across shifts, including documenting shift activities and identifying issues for follow-up Safely operate equipment, including: Forklift Skid steer End loader Aerial lift Semi-truck (as needed for loading operations) Complete required documentation, including load records and tote reports Maintain plant cleanliness through daily housekeeping at the end of each shift Perform routine maintenance tasks and collaborate with the maintenance team Record and track plant performance data Inspect and document Flamex system readings Perform additional duties as assigned by the Plant Manager Skills you ideally bring to the table as a Plant Operator...
