Job description

That's where you come in! We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager with a strong background in consumer packaged goods (CPG) manufacturing to lead a segment of our established QA team. This role will be responsible for implementing and enhancing quality systems, driving process improvements, and streamlining existing QA workflows to ensure product integrity, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate combines hands-on manufacturing knowledge with a strategic mindset and the ability to influence cross-functional teams. We are proud to be part of Wizards of the Coast which is a division of Hasbro.

This is a hybrid position onsite in office Tuesday-Thursday based out of our Renton, WA location:

What You'll Do:
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of QA professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and quality excellence.
Evaluate current quality assurance processes and identify opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce redundancies, and improve efficiency without compromising compliance.
Design, implement, and standardize quality systems, procedures, and documentation aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, and Studio teams to ensure quality is embedded throughout the product lifecycle.
Oversee root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and continuous improvement initiatives.
Monitor key quality metrics, analyze trends, and present actionable insights to leadership.
Ensure compliance with all internal standards and external regulations, including audit readiness and successful execution of internal and third-party audits.
Drive risk assessment activities and proactively identify potential quality issues.
Support new product launches and process changes with appropriate quality planning and validation.
Champion the use of data and digital tools to improve QA visibility, reporting, and decision-making.

What You'll Bring:
5+ years of QA experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership/management level having worked through a full development cycle from concept to release. Demonstrated capability in leading and developing teams of QA professionals. Strong understanding of the importance of multiple testing strategies, including verification and validation testing, usability testing, security testing, performance testing, first party compliance, accessibility, etc. Excellent leadership skills, including mentorship, planning technical roadmaps, making trade-offs, and prioritization. Ability to design solutions for development and QA when solutions do not exist within the space required. Experience leading QA in an operations team working with cross functional teams composed of multiple development disciplines. Deep understanding of risk, specifically how to identify, classify, report on, and handle it.  Strong communication skills at the individual and team level and the ability to thrive while working in a fast-paced working environment.

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Engineering, a related field or equivalent experience.
5+ years total quality assurance experience in CPG, toy and game, or food/beverage manufacturing.
Proven experience leading teams and implementing process improvements in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of GMPs and quality management systems.
Demonstrated ability to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
Effective communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Experience with ERP systems, quality management software, and data analysis tools is a plus.

Nice to Have:
Experience with TCG, toys, games, printed products, or children's consumer goods.
Exposure to chemical safety, restricted substances, or sustainability reporting.
Fluent (including reading and writing) in Japanese and/or Mandarin.

Work Environment:
Fast-paced office setting with regular interaction on the production floor.
