We are currently seeking candidates for our Plant Manager position to oversee and lead the different fucntions in our manufacturing plant in Redmond, WA. This full-time position(s) reports to the VP of Operations for Probi USA.
Schedule is Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for managing all aspects of the WA manufacturing facility including direct oversight of production, packaging, warehouse, maintenance, and sanitation departments. This position requires strong leadership skills, a continuous improvement mindset and knowledge of regulatory concepts in a manufacturing environment.
KEY JOB DUTIES
  • Oversee and mentor personnel, including assigning and delegating tasks, time sheets duties, vacation and time off scheduling, performance reviews, attendance, additions and reductions of workforce, disciplinary actions including termination, ensure personnel adhere to corporate training, policies and regulations.
  • Develop a high-performing team to achieve balanced performance against KPIs and target objectives.
  • Implement SOPs and other controlled documents in support of best practices and gap mitigation.
  • Evaluate, develop, and implement procedures to improve department efficiency, such as document deviations, CAPAs and investigations as necessary.
  • Work with other management and personnel at all locations to ensure smooth workflow and meeting or exceeding inventory and shipment targets.
  • Communicate with other management, personnel, suppliers, vendors, and contractors promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure that employees comply with GMPs, safety protocols, quality guidelines, and company standards throughout the plant.
  • Develop and implement robust processes to improve efficiency and maximize on-time and in-full, and right-first-time metrics.
  • Execute strategies for efficient operation of the plant to include keeping projects within budget and modifying as appropriate.
  • Prepare budgets and manage for the above departments in accordance with the approved fiscal responsibilities, optimizing the use of company assets.
  • Develop and maintain metrics/KPIs to meet operational targets in the department.
  • Lead audits and inspections, ensuring compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and best practices including those related to safety and health.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, creativity, accuracy, and efficiency in support of the company target objectives.
  • Perform all other special projects or duties as assigned.

WORK EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Industrial Management, or related field required.
  • Ten or more years of management experience in a production environment, GMP preferred.
  • Ten or more years' experience managing a team of up to 10 direct reports and 50+ indirect reports.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Proficient with ERP systems, Microsoft Business Central is preferred
  • Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Thorough understanding of safety and health laws, regulations, and policies.
  • Thorough understanding of raw materials, production processes, quality control, cost management and other effective manufacturing requirements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High degree of integrity and judgment.
  • Expert knowledge of industry regulations.

COMPANY REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be able to read, write, and converse in the English language.
  • Must be able to pass background check and drug screen.
  • Must be able to work in a variety of conditions: noise, dust, heavy lifting, repetitive motion, standing for long periods of time.
