A Day in the Life:

The purpose of this position is to support the local plant manager and their team to ensure data integrity, by coordinating, collecting, and reporting plant metrics and data and supporting the local management team. Primary responsibilities include assisting with inventory management, reporting processing yields and shrinks, reporting of key performance indicators (KPI's), providing accounting inputs for month end accounting closes, Daily Wires, Monthly Productivity Scorecard, and supporting other local plant administrative processes. , This position will provide information to the Accounting Hub or support functions such, Operations, Supply Chain Management, Customer Service, and Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A).

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Support the plant manager by reporting daily production, inventories, and plant Daily Production Wire                                                                                                                         
  • Generate and report monthly KPRs                                                                                                                                                              
  • Generate and report monthly Scorecard                                                                                                                                                                  
  • Ensure the daily OPD production is reported accurately and timely in SAP/BW through the MFBF process. Reconcile production reporting in SAP/BW to plant records                                                                                                                                                           
  • Perform or review local controls to ensure accuracy of data, including daily inventories, commodity purchase controls, and product shipment record control                                                                                                                                                                 
  • Coordinate and support the submission of plant licensing such NOPA weigh master licenses, posting Grain Handlers licenses, etc.                                                                                                                                                               
  • Assist the local office support functions such as coordinating off-site training, supplies, and travel support                                                                                                                             
  • Provide office support through cross-training and vacation coverage                                                                                                                                                           
  • Coordinate the gathering of documentation requested by various internal/external audit and SOX activities mainly around commercial activities                                                                                                                                                          
  • Complete misc. report requirements and respond to ad hoc information requests                                                                                                                                                         
  • Assist with special projects, as required                                                                                                                                                                    
  • Ensure that the facility goal of no injuries is pursued by all employees                                                                                                                                                              
  • Ensure plant is compliant with all corporate policies and procedures                                                                                                                                                              
  • Strive for continuous improvement that optimizes costs and efficiencies                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     
  • Has the responsibility to report all food safety and quality issues to persons having authority to get issues resolved
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Skill/Experience Requirements:

  • Associate degree in a science or technical field is preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills                                                     
  • Ability to work in a team and collaborative environment                                                    
  • Exposure to using enterprise business applications such as SAP-GTM, SAP                                    
  • Business Warehouse, or comparable commodity or ERP system                                              
  • Experience with end-user tools - e.g. MS Excel, Word                                       
  • Versatility, flexibility, and analytical skills are essential                                                     
  • Must be able to work overtime, as required
