Plant Manager Job Description Comp ($95k-$100k on Salary)

Position: Plant Manager
Hours: 7:45 AM – 4:15 PM
Direct reports: 5 production employees

Role Summary
The Plant Manager oversees day-to-day production operations, including all production duties, purchasing, coaching, output improvement, hiring, and administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct daily production activities and plant operations.
  • Supervise 5 production employees across the operating shifts (8 AM–4 PM, 4 PM–Midnight, Midnight–8 AM).
  • Handle purchasing and procurement.
  • Coach the team and drive performance.
  • Increase output.
  • Hire operators as needed.
  • Perform administrative duties.
  • Support 30-day and 60-day operational goals.
  • Remain hands-on throughout the day.
