Job description

We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join a growing manufacturing organization in Plano, Texas. This position plays an important role in planning, forecasting, and performance analysis, helping leadership understand financial results and make informed business decisions. The role offers exposure to strategic initiatives, executive-level reporting, and cross-functional collaboration in a manufacturing-focused environment.


Responsibilities:

• Evaluate financial and operational data to identify performance patterns, risks, and opportunities across the business.

• Prepare recurring monthly and quarterly analyses that explain results against budget, forecast, and operating plans.

• Build, update, and refine forecasting models, budgeting tools, and long-range planning materials to support business planning.

• Investigate unexpected financial fluctuations and provide clear explanations for variances to management.

• Create ad hoc reports and decision-support analysis for leadership as business needs evolve.

• Partner with teams using business intelligence platforms to develop dashboards and improve visibility into key metrics.

• Develop financial models that assess potential strategic initiatives, investments, and new business opportunities.

• Deliver timely financial insights and detailed analysis to senior leaders to support operational and strategic decisions.

• Contribute to executive and board-level presentation materials by organizing financial findings into clear, actionable summaries.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related.

• At least 3 years of experience in financial planning and analysis.

• Background in manufacturing accounting environments.

• Strong capability in financial modeling, variance analysis, and ad hoc financial review.

• Experience working with large data sets and applying data mining techniques to uncover insights.

• Proficiency in preparing management reports and translating complex financial data into practical recommendations.

• CPA or MBA is preferred.
