Maritime Mission & Planning Coordinator

The Opportunity:

As a defense mission professional, you ask questions others don't. You understand the nuances of complex situations. You use your skills to think bigger and push further, solving complex problems. We're looking for an expert like you to create solutions for missions that keep our nation safe.

As a defense mission professional, you'll bring your analytical, strategic, operational, and programmatic expertise to work on projects for maritime systems. You'll research, design, develop, analyze, and plan to build comprehensive products supporting maritime systems and their supporting technologies. You'll be a trusted advisor to our clients, and we'll look to you to identify, analyze, and evaluate complex systems, policies, processes and drive real-world support for the Department of War and its objectives.

You'll guide the work we do for the Department of War and the solutions we deliver for maritime systems.

You served as a seasoned enlisted leader in the Armed Forces-now, continue your mission with us. Further your career with us as you help solve complex design, integration, and analytical problems for maritime systems.

You Have:

  • Experience with building a workforce planning and resource allocation application using Microsoft Power Apps, Power BI, and SharePoint to improve visibility into staffing and operational planning

  • Experience with writing information papers and concepts of operation(CONOPs)

  • Experience coordinating technology initiatives that require collaboration across technical teams, leadership, and business stakeholders and supporting modernization efforts, operational improvements, or new technology implementations

  • Experience with bringing structure to complex efforts by helping teams establish priorities, manage competing requirements, and maintain momentum toward shared objectives and delivering clear communication, thoughtful planning, and building strong working relationships

  • Experience delivering reference-based and hands-on training to Department of War personnel

  • Experience with Department of Warcommand structures,policyand formal documentation

  • Ability to organize, schedule, andfacilitatetechnical meetings and working groupsand analyze, research, assess, and organize technical data into cohesive and clear technical reports and presentations

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

  • PMP Certification

  • Experience with unmanned system deployment

  • Knowledge of DoW deployment and Operational Tempo

  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Possession of excellent critical thinking, analytical, and organizational skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,900.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
